Come one, come all… singers and lovers of the resonant experience of singing in a group!
Join us for this workshop led by our very own fearless leader, community steward, and shining light, Michaela Mae. Drawing on her extensive understanding of vocal anatomy, Michaela invites singers to demystify their voices by exploring how the components of vocal anatomy and healthy vocal technique work together to create beautiful, powerful sound.
Through approachable vocal exercises, we’ll learn about breath support, resonance, vocal placement, and healthy technique, with an emphasis on tools you can actually hear and feel in your own voice. We’ll also look at how these skills translate into the kind of singing we love at The Folk Farm: folk, country, bluegrass, gospel, and harmony singing.
The day will close with a group gospel jam… what could be better?!
Date: October 11th, 2026
Time: 3-5pm workshop, 5-6pm jam
Where: Out West Garage, Petaluma CA
321 2nd St, Petaluma, CA 94952
Terms & Conditions: Workshop tickets are non-refundable and may be transferred to another person if you’re unable to attend.
